ECO-Block Appoints New Executive Vice president

ECO-Block, LLC announced the appointment of Joe Lake as its new Executive Vice President. For the last three years Mr. Lake was the President of ECO-Block's largest distributor, which spanned a seven state region in the central US. "Mr. Lake's knowledge of both the day-to-day operations of a distributor in the building supply industry as well as his financial acumen will be a welcome addition to the growing ECO-Block team," said Jim Moore, president of ECO-Block.

Mr. Lake's business career includes both "institutional" and "entrepreneurial" business endeavors. After graduating from the US Military Academy (West Point) and serving as a Captain in the Armored Cavalry, Mr. Lake started his business career in the banking industry. Over a twenty year period, Mr. Lake grew Western Financial Corporation from a single-branch operation in western Kansas to a NASDAQ stock exchange listed company (WSTF) with 38 locations from California to Missouri. Following his success as President and CEO of Western Financial Corporation, Mr. Lake commenced several "start-up", entrepreneurial companies, including one in the oil business.
