Fold-Form manufacturing expands in Southwestern US and Latin America
(Press Release)
Lite-Form Technologies,
owners of the Fold-Form brand, recently announced the addition of a new manufacturing plant to serve their Southwestern US and Latin American customers. The Fold-Form system is now being produced by Fanosa Del Pacifico at one of their plants in northwestern Mexico. With a 34 year history, Fanosa is one of the leading manufacturers of expanded polystyrene products in Latin America.
Pat Boeshart, president of Lite-Form Technologies, said, "Licensing Fanosa gives us the ability to dramatically reduce shipping and handling costs for our Fold-Form customers in the southwest. Because Fanosa was already involved in ICF construction, their production, sales and technical teams have done an excellent job of blending Fold-Form into their organization."
In addition to manufacturing Fold-Form, Fanosa will be directly marketing and distributing the system in Latin America. "The Latin American construction industry knows about the advantages of concrete and masonry construction. We will be using Fold-Form to introduce the special benefits of modern ICF construction," said Juan Carlos, Sales Manager of Fanosa.
In North America, Fold-Form is jointly marketed by Lite-Form Technologies and the insulation division of Owens Corning Corporation. "Our overall strategy is to provide Fold-Form at competitive prices. Having a dependable, nearby supply for our Southwestern customers certainly fits into that planning," said Tony Garone, New Business Development Manager at Owens Corning.
