Reward Wall Systems offers "3 in 1 Financing" to potential owners of concrete homes

Reward Wall Systems, Inc. now offers loans that make it easier and less expensive for customers to build homes using the company's insulating concrete forms (ICFs).  Through a partnership with First Federal Bank of Minnesota, Reward homebuyers who qualify can obtain 3 in 1 Financing that covers the costs of their lot, construction loan and permanent loan all at the same time. In addition to simplifying the loan process, Reward's 3 in 1 Financing offers the following benefits:

  • No down payment-Homeowners who act as their own building contractor may create enough equity to be used as the down payment. That equity is created from the difference between the home's appraised value and the home's construction costs.
  • Energy efficiency credit-Homeowners will receive a $250 credit for building an energy-efficient home. The high energy efficiency of a Reward home reduces maintenance costs for the homeowner, freeing up more money for mortgage payments. These factors combined make it easier for First Federal Bank of Minnesota to make a larger loan up front.
  • One-time closing costs-Because 3 in 1 Financing combines three loans in one, Reward homeowners will save money on closing fees.
  • Builder options-Potential homeowners can qualify for the program whether they serve as their own general contractor or hire an outside contractor.
  • No loan payments for up to one year-Interest that accrues during construction is added to the permanent loan. As a result, qualifying homeowners are not required to start making loan payments until their home is complete or until 12 months have passed, whichever comes first.

"We were able to negotiate this unique financing option for our customers because of the large number of Reward homes being built today," says company President Ed Storm. "We take great pride in the quality of homes built with Reward ICFs, and we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to make building with Reward easier."

Reward annually supplies ICFs for more than 1,500 homes. Industry forecasts predict 10% to 15% growth in residential above grade use in the next two years.
