LOGIX Announces Code Compliance Throughout the US and Canada
LOGIXT Insulated Concrete Forms has announced that it has completed the application process and received evaluation reports to bring it into compliance with every major code body in the U.S. and Canada.
"We have just heard back from ICC Evaluation Service, notifying us that we have been issued
ICC # ER-6133 for
LOGIX," says Todd McCarthy, one of the LOGIX owners. "We started the process of testing our products in February of 2002, four months before we launched the brand and almost exactly fifteen months ago. From the beginning we were committed to having all major code approvals, and today I'm pleased to say we've done it."
ICC Evaluation Service has combined the evaluation services of ICBO Evaluation Service, SBCCI Public Service Testing and Evaluation Services, BOCAI Evaluation Services, and the National Evaluation Service. ICC - ES is a subsidiary of the International Code Council, which combines the resources of the former model code organizations.
In April, LOGIX was issued the CCMC pre-approved number 13110-R, which approves the product for use throughout Canada. LOGIX also has been issued
an evaluation report from the State of
Wisconsin.
"This is great news for LOGIX, and for our distributors and the builders who are using our product," says Chris Earl, Vice President of Marketing. "We have been ahead of sales projections so far this year even without our code approvals, and this should really help take us to the next level. Now builders who have been waiting for our approvals to be in place can finally try LOGIX. We're confident that any ICF builder who tries LOGIX will be impressed by how much easier it is to work with than any other ICF on the market."
LOGIX is the newest major player in the ICF business, created by five of the most experienced foam manufacturers in North America, with over 50 years collective experience making high quality insulated concrete forms. In less than a year since the brand was launched, LOGIX has captured significant market share and industry attention by focusing on product innovation and superior customer service.
LOGIX forms create walls that are more solid, more energy-efficient, and more sound resistant than traditional wood-framed walls. Full product information can be found at
