PolySteel partners with US Department of Defense
(Press Release)

(Albuquerque, New Mexico, March 2003) - American PolySteel has recently partnered with the United States Government Department of Defense in an effort to build a safer America. A building was recently constructed for the Department of Defense to be used as training facilities for Special Forces. The Department of Defense is currently running a series of tests to determine the strength and stability of the structure. One of the tests the building is going through is to determine whether a Black Hawk helicopter can land and disembark troops on the roof of the building.

PolySteel Forms were used for the exterior walls of the facility and PanelDeck was used as the roofing system. Testing by the government on the building should be finished soon, and it should be made fully available for training in early April. The construction of the building was a simple process and took approximately 2 weeks to build. The government was impressed with the ease of construction and short build time.

Details of this project have not been made readily available to the public. "The government has asked us to keep details of the facility private," stated Glen Hamilton, PolySteel distributor. "Due to the series of tests the government is performing, high security risks, and the threat of war, details of this project which we are all very proud of, must remain concealed".

Headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, American PolySteel has been manufacturing superior insulating concrete forms since 1978. Networks of distributors are working with homeowners, builders, and architects, creating superior, energy efficient homes and commercial buildings.
